Kisaru Tours and Travel - Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking with Kisaru Tours and Travel Ltd ("we," "us"), you agree to these legally binding terms under Kenyan law.

2. Booking & Payment

Deposit: 30% non-refundable deposit required to confirm bookings.

Balance: Full payment due 7 days before departure. Methods: M-Pesa, Cards (Visa/Mastercard), Bank Transfer. Currency: USD (includes 16% Kenyan VAT).

3. Cancellations & Refunds

Free Cancellation: >7 days before departure → Full refund (less deposit).

Late Cancellation: ≤7 days before departure → 50% forfeiture of deposit.

Force Majeure: Natural disasters/political unrest → Credit for future travel (valid 24 months).

4. Travel Requirements

Documents: Valid passport (6+ months validity). Health: Yellow fever vaccination mandatory for East Africa tours. Minors: Children under 18 must be accompanied by guardians; liability rests solely with guardians.

5. Liability & Insurance

Our Liability: We’re not liable for:

Third-party services (hotels, airlines).

Loss/theft of personal items.

Events beyond our control (e.g., wildlife encounters).

Travel Insurance: Provided for medical emergencies; excludes personal negligence or high-risk activities.

6. Sustainability & Special Policies

Eco-Commitment: 5% of profits fund Kenyan wildlife conservation.

Family Discounts: 10% off for children under 12 (customizable for groups).

Pandemics: Flexible rebooking if borders close; health protocols enforced per Kenyan Ministry of Health.

7. Intellectual Property

Website content, photos, and itineraries are copyrighted. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

8. Dispute Resolution

Mediation: Disputes resolved through Kenyan mediation (Nairobi Centre).

Jurisdiction: Unresolved disputes go to Magistrate Courts of Kenya.

9. Amendments

We may update terms; continued use constitutes acceptance.
